Haripur (KPK) – progress report
Two mini-MBA cohorts in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took in 70 street cobblers against a budget for 50, ending in a graduation and plans for a cobblers’ union.
The record
The work began in 2011 with a survey of 444 street cobblers across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These notes were written as it happened, from July 2012.

Cohort 2 of the Haripur mini-MBA ended; PTP reached over 70 street cobblers across two cohorts against a target of 50, with three months of coaching next.

The second and last mini-MBA cohort for street cobblers in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa began on Monday 16 September 2013 and ran for five days.
Day 5 closed the first Haripur mini-MBA cohort for street cobblers, bringing the lessons together and handing out stools for cobblers and their customers.
Day 4 of the mini-MBA for street cobblers in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, covered finance and financial planning, and participants received sales ledgers.

PTP spent a week building trust with street cobblers and local leaders in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, then started the first five-day mini-MBA on 9 September.
